Sarah Murray, Principal of Grow the Game, has spent her career improving equity sports and play around the world. Most recently, she has been the Executive Director of Women Win Foundation, working globally to equip adolescent girls and young women to achieve their rights through sport. Previously, she spent a decade with the Women's Sports Foundation, working on issues of health, access and equity from a U.S. perspective.

Sarah has worked in 65 countries worldwide and brings a unique multi-cultural lens to the work of diversity and inclusion in sport. She is a Master trainer with the THNK School of Innovation and provides cross-sector consultancy to influential organizations globally to employ systems thinking, human-centered design, gender analysis and play-based methodologies to address the most pressing social issues of our time. Sarah's perspective on sport is further influenced by her own experience as a competitive lacrosse and soccer player, coach and official, as well as being the first female snowboard instructor in the U.S. A lifelong athlete, she spends her free time riding, sliding and running on trails and enjoying the outdoors in Colorado with her family.
